Control module...??
Our 06 X5 3.0 Step/65,000 miles died last Sunday...It had previously had an SES that "went away" and stalled while stopped at a light a few times...always restarted...my wife ran it low on fuel .... low fuel light just came on....and I went to fill it...it didn't make the gas station....just quit and would not restart.
Flat bedded to our indie shop, still no start, then refused to crank. They removed the "control module" and sent it to a local place to be checked. I'm still waiting word, what is this "module" anyway, like a computer circuit?? tnx Daniel
