I am still waiting for the LETTER FROM BMW to HAVE THE AIR BAG FAULT LIGHT FIXED

Thanks for saying what I was thinking......I can't believe this is acceptable with nhtsa to not have parts 5 mos after announcing a recall.

I know that this may be a dumb question, but did you try and contact BMWNA directly? I assume that you did...

I did, the operator told me that they are on a back order and for me it will happen by the end of May hopefully. Man that light is life and death situation you never know what can happen.

It's terrible that when times are good and their vehicles are selling, they don't care...sometimes it discourages people from being loyal to the brand...

Make sure the front seat passenger is wearing the seatbelt. If you are still concerned, have the passenger ride in the rear seat.

Thats what I do, I have them seat in the back its the safest way.
