Lost flashlight found!

Back in February when I was replacing numerous engine gaskets over a two week period. I lost a number of flashlights, screws, etc in the engine compartment. Most were found - but I never could find one flashlight. I spent a good amount of time looking for it.

Well - it turned up yesterday! I found it by smell. After coming home yesterday I opened the door and smelled something funky. My initial thought was "Oh boy. That's not good. What now?" Upon a little investigation I saw an oily substance dripping down the drivers side catalytic converter. Uh oh. What's leaking, and what kind of fluid is that?? I stuffed an inspection camera up there and lo and behold what did I find??

Just trying to lighten the mood a bit. I figure it's better than talking about people's heads popping off.

I find myself a bit hyper sensitive about smells, sounds, and fluids emanating from my X. Although with some of the recent repairs I've done I am feeling better about the car in general. In this case it turned out to be something benign and rather humorous
