Random Alarm Triggered

Ok so this is one of those wicked embarrassing problems I just figured out was a problem. So after 2 complaints into the apartment office about an annoying alarm... by me... I Just figured out that my alarm is going off at random. Yes I have a red hand print on my face I face palmed so freaking hard.
This has been going on for a couple months now. Why did it take this long for me to figure it out. Well the lights don't flash does it random times for random lengths of time at random volumes and doesn't seem to matter if the doors are locked or not. Also I park near 30 other cars at my apartment and while at work it's secured and often unchecked. ...and I just killed a brown recluse on my bicep.... FML! So after 10mins of looking for bites and not a single one let's continue.
Sometimes it wicked loud like bleeding eardrums loud other times I can be 20 yards away and barely hear it.

Bottom line I have no clue where to start other then writing this. I am beginning to seriously regret buying this 03 bmw x5 "never have spare money again" edition.

If anyone knows the problem and can point me in the right direction I would like to fix it this weekend when I do the hood roundel and the oil filter housing gasket.
Next is intake manifold gasket, vanos, and disa valve gasket. then cv axle and suspension bushings... then the fan for the AC. then maybe stereo upgrades...
and somewhere in there I'm going to work in better brighter headlights and tail lights and some window tint.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Jake

Yeah, hood switch!

You can just unplug it to test or even if you dont feel like replacing it yet
