On the Tourings & SAVs...the radio antenna is incorporated into the rear side window (rear left cargo area window between the C & D pillars):

I am hijacking willy's thread but it's on the same subject. I retrofited back the bordmonitor and using the original radio. I bought the car with a Kenwood HU.
I got everything working less the AM so I assume it should be an antenna connector somewhere that is disconnected. Should I see two connectors on the radio (spare wheel compartment) or one? On my 2000 X5 I had two cables connected to radio in the dash while on the newer version radio I installed after it didn't need two cables. I haven't checked the radio on my 4.8is X5 yet. Do the antenna cables 5 and 6 connect to a module before they connect to the radio?
