I had to let it go...

Guys, I thought I should share this.
On Monday after almost 8 years my gold X5 found a new home. I put a lot of effort and money into it and it was almost new but it was time to let it go... I needed a change.

Here are a few pics before she left:

I am still in with my imola red which requires some tlc so I am not leaving anywhere yet. I still haven't clicked with the e70/71... working on it

Both cars are gorgeous. Love the iS kit on your old car, combined with the Depo LED headlights. Jealous of the running boards on the new car.

RB, the running boards are not as good as you may think. they make getting out of the vehicle kinda difficult for shorter people as they always rub the pant leg off the dirty running board, OR you learn to get out in a funny angle.

Thanks RB. the IS kit changes the look significantly. I could have added rb on the old one but they are a bit inconvenient though. I love them but my wife always complains when she get in and out the X.

I just like the look, I can deal with less functionality haha!

But I'm not inclined to drop $750 on them from the dealer at the moment either lol
Either way I guess I'm just jonesing for my skid plate

Well if you're ever taking a solid 37 hour / 2,400 mile drive I'd gladly do it with you.

We can meet halfway only 18.5 hours / 1,200 miles each LOL!!

Hopefully the new owner overlooked the massive fluid leak under the X. LOL
