1400 iles this past weekend.

Drove 1400 miles round trip to attend my nephew wedding but we didn't take the BM Trouble U. Instead we rented a 2014 Camry. For what we paid to rent the Camry and the fact that the Camry got close to 42 miles per gallon on the highway on the cheapest gas available, the rental was a wash.

Not having to worry about a break down on the trip Priceless.

Not a one up, but we rolled ~1600 miles this past long weekend, from our Mtn Joint in far western NC, into VA where we chased the ball, and then on up to NJ to see our adult Kidz, and their fams.

It was our annual June run to NJ, for our granddaughter's 11th birthday.

Took our '01 X, as flying is pricey/inconvenient and takes almost as long...

The Old X ran like a top: turned 96k miles on the way home, didn't use a full qt of oil, and zero coolant. Dodged all the Revenue cops and made good time both ways, with the CEO doing ~60% of the hauling fanny.

It still drives like an adroitly handling tank, down the highway.
GL, mD

PS: The CEO shot a smooth 79 at Hanging Rock CC in Roanoke, on a course she had never seen...jeessh.

No pleasure in driving 8 hours straight. Only pleasure would have been if we stop at Road Atlanta for a couple of quick laps but that not gonna happen on this trip.

Just set the cruise on 75 and point the car in the right direction and try to avoid all the shredded truck tires on the road.

Awesome!

Sounds to me like you would be a happier person if you sold your "B M TroubleU", as you refer to them

But if I sold my BM Trouble U I wouldn't be on this forum or the other BM Trouble U forums and wouldn't be posting solutions to people problems with their BM Trouble U.

One day I will get another car and it will not be another BM Trouble U.

On some other Forums I refer to them as BMUU (BM double U) since most people who own these cars don't know how to pronounce the name.

If you go to Germany where BMWs are manufacture the local people pronounce it as BM Vay.

Same with PORSCHE it's not PORCH it's Por Sha.
