Thanks.

But I should have mentioned that the BRAKE FLUID RENEWAL warning doesn't apply to those of us in the USA (not sure about Canada/Mexico so I won't say BMW NA). So anyone reading the information below about the SI display reset...don't be thrown off about those instructions. Skip pass them...again, the brake renewal warning isn't active here in the States.
(the brake fluid renewal warning is the clock face/dial in the SI display...to the left of the OIL SERV & INSPECTION warning messages)
But all the other information applies like the info about how many liters of fuel need to be consumed before the next OIL SERV or INSPECTION will illuminate. You can take this data and calculate/approximate what 20% of your cumulative fuel consumption is (how much fuel or mileage every green LED represents) if you use your average MPG info. As mentioned in the info...the volume of fuel consumption is different depending on which engine/model you have.

From there you can convert the liters into gallons using a conversion calculator (google it) if you need to.

Also, there is a minimum amount of fuel (20% which is = to one green LED) that needs to be consumed before you can attempt a reset. See the information below under the "additional info" section for minimum values for repeated resettings:
