Whether I agree with giodog2000 or not, since he has already made the purchase, I think the polite post is to simply wish him the best or I shouldn't post anything at all. If I suggest all Subaru Outback owners drive in the same manner or indirectly suggest he is or will fit that profile has no fact base. I would be stereotyping--and I don't see that as a healthy thought process.

Just be sure to put a "Save the Planet" bumper sticker on if you own it long enough to start burning oil. Seems to be what oil burning Subi owners do.

When a person doesn't know you, when you are not there in person to see body language, facial expression or hear how the words are spoken, it is extremely difficult to know a post is meant in jest, trying to be funny or downright rude--just something to consider.
