Door locks can be programed either way.

When I brought my X it didn't lock any of the doors when driving, but since then I had the X recoded to lock all the doors once 8 mph is achieved.

Very interesting! I didn't know that. Some other strange things have been happening - How is that system re-programmed? Could it have happened accidentally, while I was screwing around with the key?
