Whistle Latest Mod from Hayakumotorsports

Actually, Hayaku helped me with getting new brake pads/rotors on the X5. Hayaku will submit a DIY article on replacing pads and rotors on the X5.

Hayaku had sold me his Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads which are great pads. Less dust than OEM and really has a great bite. David Zechausen and Stop Tech sells these Axxis Ultimate Pads which are a just a step below race/track pads.

Interesting factoids: BMW OEM Rotors are now Made in Mexico.....Yeah, I know it's just a piece of metal.....hmmmm

E39 5-series brake pads are the same as the X5s since Hayaku bought these pads originally for his M5.

Air impact tools can save lots of time and also can add time

Most mechanics don't follow torque specs (usually over torqued)

Here are some sneak peaks pics:

Some more sneak pics re:"How to remove anti-rattle clip" to "removing old brake pads" to "easy way to disconnect brake sensor wire". Again, many thanks to Hayaku for his time & expertise, garage space, lift use and tools!

Nicely done boys. My next brake job will be booked at Hayaku Motorsports. I think it'd be worth the drive to OC. Plus I can visit Ketchep.

Most definitely. BTW, where are the pics of the Toyo tires? Was thinking of getting a set of T1-S for the M3, but decided to stick with the Michelin Pilot Sports. Heard that Toyo will be coming with a newer verison of the Proxes T1-S so I'll wait for the next time.

After having them for about a year now I must say they're amazing. If anyone wants to get rid of dust while maintaining OEM-like performance get the Axxis deluxe.

Awesome work fellas. And good timing. I'm itching to change the pads--the brake dust drives me nuts!

I'll be in SoCal next week. Can I stop by and have you guys install some Axxis pads on the Chevy Craplander POS-EX rental on the way to help put Mickey's kids thru college?

That is Master Hayaku! He's a much better arm/hand model than I am!
