Moonroof sunshield FIXED by my indy!!

Hey guys...

Had the typical moonroof sunshield "crunching" sound on open / close then the sunshield got stuck. I got a few estimates - one was over $5,000 to replace the entire cartridge. Ouch. For the hell of it, I asked my Orlando, FL indy if he knew anyone. He said "Sure - we can fix it here"...

* Sunrook Repair kit (parts) - 185.57
* Labor (headliner teardown / replace / replace parts) - $630

Only charged me $815.57!! It works like new!! ASK YOUR INDY!!

i am not gonna bother had the same thing happen and have still to find the courage to follow one diy here that mentioned to simply remove 2 torx screw from the side channels that the rear glass sits on, and then do a full -resync of glass this means you only have front half of pano working but better than nothing
