Hey,

looks great and classy !!! Good job. You can always get a custom
interior later :p
I know I am a nag but maybe you can get the trim piece redone to
fit the dashboard seems
Simillar to this 3 series install

I just like the flush and OEM look of it but in any case great job on the
mods and you've got a really nice ride there !!!

I think what you done in place of the oem front screen is very impressive and looks neat.
I am sorry for being the second person not to like your interior trim mod!I am so used to seeing black leather with either the silver or the dark Mahogany trim that I think anything else doesnt blend in!
Still, most members like it and it is a job very well done.Congrats.

Guys, appreciate the honest opinions . I know this trim is kind of in your face and not for everyone. But I agree that at the end of the day as long as you go home and look at it and be happy then that's all that matters.

Also thanks everyone else for your opinions. I just wanted to share this with all of you since not too many people have this trim.

Very exquisite! Did you try to remove the suntan stain?

Not yet but I have a few remedies rec'd by the board. The thing is the stain happened during the past summer, meaning it's a long time ago. I hope it's not permanent.

LeMans, still thinking about getting this trim and/or the individual M wheel?

I like both the trim & the Avic! Nice work!
Personally, I wouldn't choose such a "Statement" trim, but that's just my style. For the unique result you were aiming for, it's perfect. And if you do live in a coastside locale, boat lovers will drool big-time! My dad, who might as well have been born on a hand-crafted sailboat, would get this trim within 5 minutes of seeing your pics! Nicely done.

Oh, I'm also curious about what functions are "keyed in" to the OEM controls on the AVIC-1. Perhaps that's covered elsewhere as well...
Thanks for sharing.
