Anyone replace door gaskets
I've been hemming and hawing at replacing them. At 100+ a each door, if memory recalls, not sure if the benefits outweigh the cost. I don't have any major tears. Just the typical blemish on the lower bottom after owning the car for 11+ years. Probably going to squeeze 2 more out of her.

Clean them with a mild APC, and use this on them to rejuvenate, don't wipe it off at all just let it dry on the seals:

Been using that stuff since ownership.....
I would not use APC on it. No need. Just a damp cloth . The doors gaskets stay clean pretty well. The trunk hatch gasket, now that get's grimey (the upper half) Can't help the inevitable rubbing , etc that just creates a small tear or two on the bottom part of the gasket... Passenger side is the worst. Others, barely noticable but for the OCD type, I know it's there... |
