Squeaky front brakes...
just wanted to ask about brake fluids. There's a dead link in the brake fluid article section and search came up empty. I Had front brake pads, rotors and sensors (all OEM)replaced about 5-7 months ago. Past few weeks, i noticed a lot of squeaking. wondering if I should check/replace the brake fluids? if so, where is it located ? and or what do you guys suggest? thanks guys...

Brake squeak AFAIK has no relation to brake fluid. It is a result of the brake pad contacting the brake rotor - i.e. braking. It is an annoyance, but not a sign of anything wrong with your system.
Different brake pad/rotor combinations have different levels/combinations of squeak and dust. Some pads claim to be dustless, others claim to minimize squeak. Dust & squeak are both normal, but bot annoying. How long ago did you replace your pads? Give them some time to wear down the pad a bit, the squeak may go away. If it doesn't and you want to get rid of the squeak, look into different pads.

probably about 5-7 month back. I had it all replaced. just started noticing the squeak more these past 2 wks. I have been taking a new route and more distance as well. About 90miles round trip now. Compared to before when it was only about 35miles around trip.
Thanks for the clarification re: the brake fluids.

You could try an "anti-squeal" grease. It is applied to the back plate of the brake pad (Do not apply it to the friction side of the pad, where it touches the rotor) where it touches the caliper.
One time I didn't use any of the grease when re installing my OEM pads after a track day and they squeaked a bit. Regreased them and they were quiet. Video of what I am talking about LIQUI MOLY Brake Anti-Squeal Paste - YouTube

Did you reinstall the metal shim between the pad and caliper?

Sounds like insufficient anti-squeal compound was applied to the caliper contact points and back of pads. By the way, which part are you referring to? There's no such part unless you're referring to the one that comes stuck on the back of the OEM pads.

I vaguely remember removing worn OE pads and installing aftermarket Pagid pads, and having to transfer the plates.

I didn't do the work myself as I don't trust myself just yet in the brake/rotor dept
for a beginner DIYer. ill ask my mech if he used any anti-squeal while installation. Thanks for the inputs fellas. The squealing is not happening at every braking. It's very intermittent.

FWIW, if you have the tools, DIY it. It is such a simple job that you will kick yourself for ever paying someone else.
