Help! Steering wheel violently shaking!

I have a 2001 X5 and I have just replaced my ball joints and LCA bushings. Everything has been fine until about a month ago I got the dreaded ABS/DSC traction control lights on. I went ahead and ordered a new abs module and got all new front tie rods. Just went and got it aligned and put the module in. I recoded the ABS yesterday and my steering wheel is shaking very badly. It's been shaking for a while now. It's throwing code Steering Angle calibration necessary. Would this code really cause the steering wheel to shake. On inpa when looking at steering angle "0" looks pretty straight on looking at steering wheel. I clear the codes and after a half mile of driving it starts shaking again and throws code. I really need help where as this is my DD.

What else is left? All the normal wear items are replaced and being as when I clear the errors it stops until it recognizes it. Should Unplugging it and driving it work just as well as taking it out?

Not sure how the install went, but the TIS explains that every time you change driveline components, and after the alignment is done, the steering angle sensor should be recalibrated. Just look it up. Maybe that's your problem?

Is something making one brake caliper drag? I had a sticking brake caliper on the front drivers side and when the rotor started to heat up from the constant friction, it made the steering wheel shake like crazy!
