Luckily that paint isn't very aggressive. I made the mistake of driving over freshly painted road lines and will never do it again.
I want to say I used Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover. It was a liquid (non spray) and let it soak on the paint. Then it basically rubbed off and followed up with a clay bar, light finishing polish, then wax. For the plastic I am not sure. I'd still try the Bug & Tar remover. It light just come off.

Wd40 is what I'd say too. It won't attack your clear coat

In one word: PATIENCE!
Go slow, use a plastic card (old credit card or gift card) and gently scrape the big patches. For small marks, use a rag and rub it. The video below (and its comments) is worth watching:

I just did this for a customer of mine. First off your going to need to clay bar, meguiars has a fantastic kit. afterwards get a soft microfiber towel with a deep pile and using goo start srcubbing your going to want to take your time. afterwards use a high quality wash, I use griots waterless wash with griots wash towel. your going to have to rewax, also i would use Ultima tire and trim guard on your exterior trim.
