02 4.6is vent hose?

so today I was replacing the PCV valve on the back of the manifold and only one side out of the two nipples had a vacuum hose attached to it, the other just had a cap over the nipple. There was a black plastic hose that resembled a vacuum hose just sticking up coming from the bottom of the car. is this the missing hose or a diff/tranny vent hose?

Thanks!!

There is one towards the front of the engine for the front diff, the one at the back is the transmission vent hose.

Agreed. The one that is located at the ccv is tranny.
