Pano sunroof problems

For the past couple days my sunroof has been acting up. When I try to open the shade, sometimes it works and sometimes it don't and when it does work it would only move a couple inches and I would have to press the button again. If I get the shade and glass open, when it's time to close the glass would move but then stop and retract a few inches as if something was in its way but after a few tries it would close and then the shade would only move a few inches every time the button is pressed

I tries to calibrate it by pressing the sunroof button up and let it cycle open and close but it still acts up

My pano roof has the symptom of not closing within a single touch of the button, I have to continuously keep pressing it to close and it only moves a few inches each time. I also did the reset and no luck

Certainly sounds like the anti-pinch function to me. Are you certain you performed the initialization correctly?

the shade could be binding
my shade jammed up on me several months ago and the middle vent/grill came right off
get the sunshade mechanism rebuilt or leave it open and tint you glass

Yea I'm sure, I would push the sunroof button and the sunroof would cycle open and close it took about 75 seconds

I don't think it's binding because it opens and closes it's just that I have to keep pressing the button because the shade and glass only moves a couple inches then stops
