Distorted Low Beam at one side

Hi, Guys

I am a long xoutpost reader, but registered only recently and by accident stumbled accross pictures of my x5 from old owner ( Hey wilkoturbo - seems i ended up with Your ex-x5 )

i apologize for a new thread, but i searched all over and couldn't seem to find any info on following issue:

Today at evening i noticed that my x5 e53 drops odd xenon beam at one side.

When i pulled next to wall - passengers side dropped nice and sharp beam on the wall while driver side has some sort of distortion in middle of it.

Do You have any ideas what could cause it?

One thing that springs to my mind is that few months ago when i went to France and switched beams to ''flat'' by lever in headlight and when i came back i switched it back to RHD side when one of them snapped...although i am 90% sure that it switched fully. Could that be it? If so any ideas on what to do? Tried to search for any relevant images to see whether i can adjust it with screwdriver or something but couldnt find any.

Any ideas/thought would be appreciated
