Squealing Noise

Group,

Here's link to the squealing that I've recorded https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...&v=En5E_v4I9Dk

I changed the tension and idler pulleys (breaking a hose in process)

I thought the issue was resolved as I started the car up and heard no noise. It's back now.

While I was putting the belt back on (currently have the same belt, didn't have belt in stock) I turned the alternator by hand to see if there were any squeaks and didn't hear anything.

What are my choices? Belt, Water Pump and Alternator?

Thanks

An update....it seems like the noise goes away on WOT....but yes, that could be the engine noise over powering it, but just thought I would through that out there.

That's sounds like alternator bearing to me...

EDIT: wait, I hear another noise beside the squealing one...what is that?

There is some sort of "rattling" that I was attributing to people talking about VANOS noise. That noise doesn't concern me that much as I'm actually trying to trade in the vehicle in the next few weeks. A big ole squeal isn't going to get me much money.

That sounds as simple of the serpentine belt. When they are new they have a sort of fluffy surface which makes them silent. As they wear, you can hear them as per your vid. I reckon if you change that, the noise will go.

I chased a squealing noise forever. It was the belt.

It was the belt. So happy that it was that easy and mad that I didn't change it when I did the pulleys.
