peak coolant

I need to top off my coolant befor my 3 hour trip home. I drive a 2001 4.4i x5 i bought some peak 50 5o am i going to be okay with that. They guy at parts store sayes thats what bmw recommends

BMW recommends BMW coolant/distilled water ONLY. Parts counter monkey is clueless.

FWIW, you have an E53 X5, not an F15 X5.
