Check low beam message??? Question

I have a check low beam message and my passenger side light is out. The angle eye still is lit up though. What am I missing? I guess I don't know why the angel eye is lit up and the headlight is out. What should I replace? Thanks!

I'm guessing you have xenon? D2S bulbs then, replace the pair as the color won't match the old bulb. The angel eye bulb is a separate light bulb

They are separate lights. Low beam is low beam, not angel eye.

Or could it be the indicator bearings?

Ok ok with the head light fluid...you guys are hilarious.. I just couldn't find a bulb number and only saw the drl and angel bulbs at first glance. Thanks for that part number. Yes they are xenon.

If you have halogen lights, probably the bulb.

HID, could be a couple of things...ballast, igniter, or bulb.

I lost one side low beam once and I thought it was the bulb. Installed a new bulb and it still wouldnt work. Returned it and had to diagnose by swapping around parts from left to right. Turned out to be the ballast.

Bought a used one off ebay for about half the price of a new one.

Just make sure you replace the xenon bulbs as a pair and use oem bulbs not aftermarket.

Is there an Oem bulb that gives off a better/brighter light? Or not really.

Brightest OEM bulb known is Osram Nightbreaker or CBI, they run you $190 a pair:

Nightbreakers run 4300k which is stock color temp, while the CBI is 5000k or "cool crisp white", order from these guys as the authenticity is guaranteed:

D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 Nightbreaker - HID Bulbs - Components

D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI - HID Bulbs - Components

Or you could go with fresh bulbs of what you had in there, the Philips 85122, which is a great bulb, and I guarantee you'll notice improved brightness after replacing your dimmed 10 year old stock bulbs, they are half the price of Nightbreaker or CBI:

D2S: Philips 85122
