No problem man, enjoy being able to see at night again when you get a fresh pair in there.

I had this same warning message recently, and was looking to get some information on how to actually replace the Xenon bulb. I have a 2005 X5, and followed a couple of the videos/tutorials I found online, but I was unable to remove the light assembly from the vehicle (it seems like the bumper, and specifically the washer fluid squirters, are in the way). Do I have to remove the bumper? If so, how tough if this? Anyone can point me to writeup the used, that would be great! Thanks...

how small are your hands? If you have big fat hands/fingers, drop the bumper.

Don't buy anything yet!!!!
Swap the xenon bulbs, and see if the pattern follows. If it's still the same side that doesn't light up, then it's the ballast, not the bulb.

I validated that the bulb was in fact bad, but only after I took it to my local place to have them replace the bulbs. I wanted to do this one, but removing bumpers sounded scary. $80 well spent, so my wife thinks!
