A/C not cooling on passenger side
Has anyone encountered this issue, any recommendations how to fix it? A/C cooling on driver vents but seems about 10 degrees hotter on driver and rear vents. Also fogs up front windshield on passenger side only. Could this be a heater control valve issue? Does anyone have schematics for the HVAC, looking for where the blend door maybe located so I can check that. with much appreciation to your insights

The first thing to check would be heater control valve. You should be able to diagnose by checking the hose temps and maybe pinching hoses. There should be lots of info and videos (including on how to repair/rebuild the valve if that is the problem and you want to go that route.) but maybe AI is interfering with your searches.

When I was confronted with this concern I learned that BMW prioritizes the driver when the system is low and needs charging.
I also remember misting also coming from the vents The a/c charging only lasted a few days...I ended up having to go into the dash to address the vents and change out the evaporator valve and evaporator core. Sent from my TMRV075G using Tapatalk |

https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...ht-thread.html I've used AC Pro High Mileage, which has more sealant, the last couple of times. Simple to do on one's own since it has its own gauge. Just watch a YT video on the technique first. |
