That's what they told me. They said it will start if they jump her but doesn't hold charge and turns off. They're going to take it to one of their BMW mechanics and they will call me on Friday with a update so they are not 100% sure about the battery. I went to Mexico in August for a little over a month and as soon I got home I went to check on her. She started right up with no problems besides the exhaust smelling like crap.

Hmmm... A bit strange that good battery would go bad because of a bump, unless it was cracked/punctured, which in your case, doesn't sound like it did. Very interested in what it turns out to be. Definitely check it out good so it doesn't bite you in the butt later on!

I would check the battery cable. The hit from behind might have caused the charge to disconnect the battery from the car might had gone off.

Well hopefully they get it sorted out. They just called me a few minutes ago. They were concerned about the aftermarket exhaust tips. They're not too fond of cutting the new muffler and welding the tip on.

I seen a used 4.6is muffler L+R on eBay for $600 shipped. Was told drivers side muffler cost them $700. I wouldn't mind having a used 4.6is muffler on my 3.0.

Just got my X back from Guy and Sons. They replaced my battery free of charge with a Interstate battery. Replaced the tail gate switch, removed dents from upper tail gate and repainted it. they weren't suppose to fix any of that since damage was done to lower tail gate only. Overall happy with the work done.
