The multi-function (MLF) steering wheel's option code is S249A (as noted on your option list). The heated steering wheel option is S248A....if you had this option...it would also be listed.
The heated steering wheel option code is listed as below...& you'd see this number listed in the option code list: S248A Lenkradheizung Steering wheel heater If you had a heated steering wheel...you'd know it because there'd be a button on the steering wheel to turn the heating element on. The illustration and info below is for the regular 4 spoke heated steering wheel...but if the e53 4.8is has the heated sport steering wheel...the basic set-up and concept would be the same...it would just have 3 spokes instead of 4 spokes.
