Sunroof clicking

First off, I would like to say Hello as this is my first post here . I am a long time E46 fanatics and bimmerfest user. I havent been able to find my answer on either of those forums,so I figured I would ask here. I bought my wife a one owner ( middle aged woman) 2005 X5 3.0 with sport ,premium, and cold weather packages with 90 k miles . Truck is beautiful except one thing. The sunroof (panoramic) makes a clicking sound when i press the up button. It is in the closed position with the sunroof screen in the open position. Has anybody had a similar problem? I have searched on all of the forums and only found the back wouldn't work, it only opened vertically, ect. When I press the button it almost sounds like a plastic gear or something is stripped .. Thanks in advance .. Hollywood..

I have already changed all of the suspension bushings, cooling system, trans filter/fluid,brake fluid flush,front/rear diff fluid, and transfer case fluid flush. This sunroof thing is driving me nuts ..
