chivas is on a distinguished road
almost 100k mikes on the 4.6. what needs to be replaced?

Bought this second (well technically third) hand and the trans was replaced before so that's our of the pic. Apparently the previous owner also has the timing chain gifts done too.

Having owned a 540, I am going to so the cooling system when I get back from work (kinda work offshore). Suspension parts: just the "thrust arms" or the whole front end? Rear bushings, poly or OEM? Is there a writeup on how to do the rears? CCV will be done too since it seems to be a problem with the M62 motors (if not all BMW's). Am I missing something else that needs attention?

Just sent the abs module out and will be replacing the battery. Wiper switch is on it's way (heard it's a problem area with E53's) so that's getting replaced. Just want to do a once over before going on a road trip next month.

Shocks? Bearings?

Thanks!
