X5 front driver door locked completely

My front driver door is completely locked and unable to open from inside or outside. I replaced the actuator with a used original and worked for 1 week and then it just stayed in the lock position and even the lock pin is stuck in the down
or locked position. I have taken off the door panel and have a good view of the actuator. I need a fix to manually open the door and then replace the actuator with a good one.
I have prayed gently but nothing. The only other thing I could do is get a crowbar and bust the door open which I hate to do.
Please let me know if anyone has successfully opened the door manually or have
a fix to get the door open. Thanks

Turning the key in the outside door cylinder doesn't help? I think that is the only mechanical link. Everything else is electrical.
