Yellow triangle 4x4 DSC light

I have searched threads and threads ...now I am sooo confused. I have had this issue 4 times in 6 weeks. I just had it this morning at church, I did see it turn on when I had the steering wheel cranked all the way to get into the parking space.

I do not get any other lights or signals or sounds or messages. the light comes on, makes me sick to my stomach (cus I think its going to cost alot) and will stay on until I turn the car off for the night then the next day it has reset....crazy....does that mean that when the light goes on I do not have 4 wheel drive then when the light resets it comes back on?

I think the last time the light came on the steering wheel was turned to the end to make a turn..... I think....any suggestions.........

Something like this happened to my friend. Definitely not me.

My friend zip tied the wheel speed sensor wires in place but didn't leave enough slack so it would be intermittent when the wheel was turned all the way. If he reset the codes and didn't turn the wheel that much it was ok. clippingvthe zip ties solved the problems but the sensors failed completely a few months later.

Bring it in, duplicate the condition that the light comes on and when the light is on have the mechanic read the trouble code with his scanner. Make sure the mechanic have a scanner that can read BMW trouble code. A generic scanner will not read these codes.
