Coding the LCM. Don't know the year of your X5, some older LCM might not have this function.

Help us help you better by adding some model/model year info. The e53 has multiple headlight set-ups..we don't know if you have pre-facelift, facelift, halogen, xenon, or bi-xenon headlamps.

The stock bulb for turns on pre-facelift is 3457, its a dual filament bulb. One of the filaments went which is why it only lights up on turn signal.
Replace them in pairs.
