starter motor fuse?

Hello all, as subject suggests I am looking for the starter motor fuse, cannot find it! its neither in the rear compartment or in the glvoebox area, anyone any ideas? could it perhaps be one of the high amp fuses that are in the spare tire compartment area(and not labelled up anyway)?

Reason I ask is that I believe my starter is drawing larger than 400amp at each engine start causing me sluggish starts and draining my battery gradually as normal dailiy driving is not enough to replenish this loss , as suggested by one reader if the starter is rated at 2.2kw(oem one seems to be) that means it works at 12V X 183amps=2200watts approx, why does no fuse blow if the amp drawing device has a fault and is drawing more than the 183a rating?

cheers
