Locked my Keys in the Trunk X5 E53 3.0I

Anyone have a diagram of the locking system (with wiring / locations / receivers)? or a link to other threads. I'll do my own search in the meantime.

Found a thread of another forum, the user there had the same symptoms as I ( is it okay to post link to the other forum?)

His end result was switching out his lock cylinder. So thats where I'm starting

There is a release cord inside the back right side compartment where the fuse bay is located. It should be green. Just pull it.

Key cylinder repair kit is less than $20 IIRC. Did you ever look into that? It's an easy 30min or so job.

- Get a key without the FOB at dealer for $50.

There's no dealership around me. I live in a remote area. I'm flying to the states hoping that I can get a key while I'm there.
