Valve Timing Adjustment Actuator *A.K.A* Cold weather start problem
i believe i have a Valve Timing Adjustment Actuator failure problem. What happen is, on cold start in the morning, there is a noise similar to a sticky bendix, the noise its only 1 or 2 second,. It only happen on cold weather , lets say -5 and plus... and only when the car has stay overnight ... what i heard from here and there , is the variable valve dont lock the oil in the cam gear , so theres no oil pressure ... and the camgear is out of oil and it dry easier because of cold weather.... anyone can confirm????
so if i start in the morning , the noise will come.. but if i shut it off right away and i start again then no noise...
and theres no warning light on dashboard
or maybe is vanos ?
