They'll be fine. Spray them with a coating like lithium grease or tac2, wrap them in paper, and store them in an elevated position. They rusted because the cold floor allowed moisture to gather. Before installation give them a thorough degrease.

Check or turn the rotors at the time of installation.
I have tried WD-40 and grease with good results. Brake Cleaners works perfect to get the them ready for use. |

Bring it to local O'Reilly auto parts store to resurface it. Tell them to do a light resurfacing, i.e., do not remove too much meat.

Are the rotors new? If not, how many miles on them?

You can buy what's called Fogging oil to spray down the rotor. Store them in a plastic bag and use brake cleaner when you go to use them

Do not store them on the floor unless you coat them with grease and wrap them in plastic. |

I'll 2nd (or 3rd), need to be turned just before use but stop the rusting process with any of the methods described above. zip-lock with a light spray of oil like cooking oil spray (like pam but pure oil) would do a good job w/o being totally gross.
HEATING hot like in oven to remove 100% of all H2o before treating with oil a good idea. |
