Air Ride Valve Solenoid Fault
2006 X5 4.8is Quick Synopsis: - Refreshed all four corners with Arnott Bags (sport) - Cleared Codes with my Mechanic friend's Snap-On code reader - Started to drive the car around the block and heard the compressor running but wouldnt shut off even after 2min. - All air bags seem to be inflated and in correct position. - Reran the code and noted "Front Left and Rear Left Solenoid Valve" fault. This led me to think the Valve Unit on the compressor is bad but the previous owner had this replaced along with the Accumulator by the dealer 4months ago. Anything I'm missing? Wondering if my Foxwell can provide any help Plan on using the soapy spray bottle but I don't believe its a leak issue but ill double check? plan on driving down from Portland to Socal this weekend. |

Foxwell scanner can control the air suspension just don't do unnecessary things to experiment.

Can confirm. FUBAR'd my EHC with the Foxwell also. Was also able to get it out of "zamboni" mode but it was not a fun process.
If the problem does turn out to be your solenoid valves (the valve block on the giant accumulator tank located under the truck) I have an extra here (and an extra accumulator tank for that matter). Actually have an entire EHCII system I'll be selling as soon as I stop being lazy and take some pictures.
