Newbie question...

amongst other little issues, I have the dreaded 'suspension inactive' warning..

I have the 1.4 laptop scanner and when I scanned it it did mention something about
Ride height
rear left sensor
And body komfort module..

So after reading online people have said check the fuse, sensors, relay etc..I know it could well be the sensor ..but should my suspension do 'anything' people talk about it going up and down or sagging, the ride is sat perfectly fine thank god, and the seller said he thought it was after the owner changed the brakes and jacked one side up a time??

What repair routine do you suggest...)

I suggest checking the ride height links first. Sometimes when the suspension is fully extended the arm on the link will flip over causing the suspension inactive warning.

Thanks, how would I go about that, is it a ramp job or a torch and shimmy underneath...)

I can see them by looking through the spokes in my rims. If not you can try sliding underneath. The arm should be toward the corresponding wheel.

If one is flipped over you will need to jack it up until the suspension is fully extended to flip it back. Be sure to lower it slowly and check it again. If that is the problem you will need to drive it a few blocks and turn wheel left and right before it goes out.
