SMD Versus CCFL AEs

Interesting video, showing the differences between the two.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr-lgCgpPq0
I wanted to fit SMDs on my Depos!Waited a month for them and not going to fit
now ,as I dont like the individual led dots (pure white when lit and a dull yellow when off).
I agree that all else is better than CCFLs and definitely much brighter and very visible in daylight
Personally I just hate the individual broken up led look!Very un-OE!Back to the drawing board and figure out how to improve my Depos

Sorry to hear that Fernando! My rings are fairly close together and extremely bright so I have no complaints with the LED's, considering I paid $35 shipped for the set!

These are what I have on my Spyders. I will get pics up as soon as I can, weather hasn't been great lately.

The SMD LED's are smaller but there are more of them so it is more uniform than your pic above, but again its better but never going to be 100% the uniformity of CCFL. Althought its 3 times brighter lol

Thanks for confirming that.
Damn it !I assumed all SMD led angel eyes had same number of leds Looks like I made a mistake in ordering the 60 led smds and should have got the 126 leds ones ,as you did
I put mine up for sale and I now trying a different route altogether

Would I be right in saying that the smd leds I purchased have the same number of leds(60) as the $600 Depos ,sold in US?
