Arrow Offering BMW "feature" coding

Hi all,

I am offering feature coding, located in Allentown, PA but i do all of eastern Pennsylvania, NJ, and NY if i get a few cars together as well.

Here is an example of my flyer and what is offered:

BMW CODING

What is BMW “Feature” Coding?

Feature coding isn't "coding" in the general sense of the word. We are not hacking into your car and writing custom code. All of the changes made through feature coding are options that your car already has, they were just not made available for the US market. What we do is we read out the settings from the different modules of your car, make the changes, and save them back. The only things that can be coded are those that BMW built into the car and has settings for.

Examples of coding available but not limited to:

• Comfort Start- Ignition key just has to be tapped once to start the engine after ignition is turned on. (No press of the brake pedal required)

• Comfort Eject- Turn off the ignition with a long press on the start/stop button in order to eject the ignition key.

• Car key features

1. Press and hold the unlock button on the remote to open all windows and the
sunroof.
2. Press and hold the lock button on the remote to close all windows and the sunroof.
3. Unlock the car by key and hold the key in the unlock position to open all windows and the sunroof.
4. Lock the car by key and hold the key in the lock position to close all windows and the sunroof.
5. Press and hold the lock/unlock button on the remote, the sideview mirrors automatically fold/unfold.
6. Welcome lights- to personal preference headlights and/or brake lights come on upon unlocking vehicle.
7. Press the unlock button once to unlock all doors.

• Lighting/Misc features

1. Power windows are active for “set time” after ignition is turned off.
2. Automatic lock if no doors/windows have been opened after “set time”.
3. European double flash hazard lights
4. Daytime running lights on or off, can set daytime running lights to be the foglights if preferred.
5. Turn cold monitoring off, if running LED’s to eliminate flickering.
6. Disable front amber corner lights for a cleaner look with halos on or headlights on.
7. Turn headlight washers on/off.
8. Remove seat belt chime/warning for both driver and passenger.
9. Power windows are active for “set time” after ignition is turned off.

*Certain features may or may not be available depending what options and packages the vehicle is equipped with. There may also be additional features available that are not listed.

You can PM me to setup an appt.

I also do maint/service on BMWs specifically specializing in X5's and have quite a few members on xoutpost that can vouch for me as well, from suspension upgrades to programming.
