Perhaps this is a good place to ask - are there any changes in rotor size and calipers used on the non-M E70 over the years?

The E70 50i rotor and pads do not fit the E70 30i and 30d... so the answer is you must look for edition specific parts.

The rotors from my 2011 X5 50i will not fit your 2010 X5 4.8 The 2010 E70 rotors are: 348X30mm the 2011 E70: 365X36mm

Thanks some appropriate searching on fcpeuro showed exactly that

When the time comes, I'll be sure to be specific. Fortunately, the part costs are quite reasonable.

did you guys replace your rotors at your first brake pad change ? or did you go through a couple of front pad sets before having to replace the rotors ?
