2008 X5 AIR CONDITION
Question!
I have a problem with my air condition. I took it to a local mechanic hoping it would be something simple. My air won't blow at all from my front vents but still work from my rear vents. It happened all of a sudden...and earlier in the month, my music from my I-pod stopped working and i had to reset it.![]() Could my air condition be a computer problem or a air condition motor problem? And would anyone know a ballpark figure of what either will cost me to repair?

Main (aka front) fan blower is not working. Check FSU. Rear a/c system has its own blower which is working. Your Ipod not working and needing reset has nothing to do with your car

My 2007 had the front blower fan motor stop. The fan speed bars would change but i had no fan. On the e70 it is pretty easy to pull maybe 8 screws to then wiggle the blower and fsu down and out from the passenger side foot well. I discovered the motor bearins were rusty and hard to turn. I lubricated with penetrating oil and spun and they loosen up. Put it back in and it has been working fine for a month now.

My '08's blower motor went about a year ago also.
