I have tabs ... realism does not help. My fear.is I could break the trim

The trim should not break but may twist.
There are, I think, 8 tabs that the trim is pressed into. If you have a plastic trim tool, work it in from window side and under the trim enough to force the trim straight away from the glass. Start on either end, but if I remember correctly top was best place to start. |
