Didnt want to start a new thread so i'll ask here.
Got a set of 214s from a 2008 x5 (i think) and put them on my 2011 x5. Did the frequencies change in 2011 or is it all the same? I got a TPS malfunction after few days of having them on. Tire pressures are all correct. Could be battery but i wasnt sure about the different years. Anyone know?

Sorry, but the sensors are sealed and batteries are not replaceable. If a dealer charged you less than ~$800-1000 for "battery replacement" they stole your money.

Upon checking my receipt, the Bridgestone place changed only 2 sensors and not the batteries....my mistake.

Again, for anyone having problems with the TPMS, I use universla programmable MX sensor with success. Cannot beat the price @~$100 for a set of 4. Needs a programmer too,~$50, but still great deal. |
