2007 E70 3.0d - ATF filter tube or similar?

Do our transmissions have some sort of filter tube accessible from the engine bay that would allow access to the gearbox ATF fluid?

I need to get a small amount of fluid into the transmission and I weas hoping there was a way to avoid going through the filler hole under the car.

If you are thinking that transmission oil level might be low then you should follow the proper procedure to top the level.The proper procedure is shown in this link:

Engine should be running and transmission oil temp should be between 30deg to 40 deg C.
