BMW X5 Passed However VW Did Not & CEO Stepping Down

Seems that BOTH VW and BMW were the target of testing. A BMW X5 was tested but seemed to pass (unclear what year, however, assume is was close to the VW years and a Diesel as well), VW was not so fortunate. My guess is this may start a renewed effort to monitor the Diesel's from many manufacturers.

Lets hope BMW "stays clean" because just look at the VW stock price and how owners are concerned about resale value and vehicle/brand image.

Thanks for posting the link, but the reason I posted here because the X5 was also apparently tested and at least from the lack of finger pointing, BMW does not appear to have a problem like VW!
