Removing stuck caliper bolt

I cant for the life of me remove the caliper bolt on the passenger front. First off, if im facing the rotor and caliper bolt is behind it, which direction do i go to loosen it? Do i push down towards the ground or go up towards the top of the car?

Its a 2008 ...

Thanks!

You turn the bolt counter clockwise to loosen it, when facing the bolt head. So if you are positioned facing the bottom of the bolt (it is pointed towards you) you turn it clockwise. Up or down depends on where your socket handle is.

Rightsy tightsy lefty loosy. Put the purse down and use a breaker bar. You should be spinning the ratchet clockwise if you are going at it while facing the rotor.
