Which software for TC reset and ride height adjustment?

Did the Drain/drop/fill routine on the transmission, then drained and filled the transfer case. Needs the adaptations reset.

I have the "romanian" software package and INPA connects to the TC controller but I can't see any reset.

Which other software could do this, ISTA? Or NCS Expert?

Also the ride height in the back is uneven by about 3/8".

Depending on where in MD you are, I have some Pro Level scan tools that likely have the ability to do this.

I would need to verify which tool I have that can support these features, but I believe I have seen them on one of my tools.

Where are you located?

I am in Bethesda, 15-25 min from Fairfax.

Price,
There is a program in the package ISTA. When I open it, it says Reingold at the top left. Is that the one?

I am actually a bit closer to you, just near the river.

Let me check on what tools have these options. I am pretty sure I have 2 different tools that probably support these features.

I may be closer to you one day next week for a short period of time.

I am near River&Goldsboro. Sounds like you are close. PM me a day that works maybe?

I just found some information saying Rheingold is supposed to be the S/W for most electronic items. I input the VIN and it gives me the right spec for the car. Wife had the car with her so couldn't connect yet. Thus far the tabs in Rheingold are not enlightening me but I guess I just need to find some info and online and see if connecting the car will lead to some insights...

Today decided to play with Rheingold and managed to find the reset for the TC. I think that does it.

Couldn't find anything on ride height calibration in Rheingold. It will read fault codes but nothing on setting ride height.

So, went back to INPA and lo and behold, found the ride height calibration routine. Moved the RH rear up by 13 mm and she is nice and level now. :-)

EDIT: I forgot to report that while I was in there with Rheingold, I also checked into the transmission calibrations and reset those. The shifts had been a bit ragged before, especially in Manual mode. Now they are nice and smooth again.

(While I was searching for the TC reset I had noticed a post by a member who had them reset at the dealer and it had worked to smooth the shifts, which is why I thought to replicate that. The trick with the accelerator is not quite sufficient..... )

AND IT WAS MY 1000th post!!
