Was just curious if they shared (or you remember) the quote they charged to insurance. Thanks.

No they didn't but I see that Pelican Parts has the pump for $93 and it looks pretty easy to change.

Apologies for the questions:

Was it part #11517566335? (I'm getting $242 at pelican, so I wasn't sure)

Any chance you could share up a video of the current sound? I know this is a common issue but some before/after would really help us to know what is normal vs failing. You vid was really interesting given how different the sound is with cap on vs off. Thanks in advance!

I can't video the sound now as it is in the shop for a new tranny. However, it sounds like a small pump is running after you turn off the ignition. It runs for a few minutes and then shuts off.

Also, I found the aux pump on rockauto.com for the lesser price actually. To me, there's no reason to pay more because the pump is really only an added benefit and not totally necessary in my opinion.

Did yours not run after shutting down prior to the swap? I don't recall hearing much activity under the hood after shutting down.

11517566335 didn't come up on rockauto, did you get the "Cardone Select 5W-9004"

No it didn't run prior to the dealer changing it. I recall before it failed that it ran a little when it was really hot outside. The dealer replaced it under warranty so my part cost estimates could be inaccurate.
