09 35d surging around 2k rpm with light acceleration

Update #2. Well new battery made things better/different. Now the hesitation is back in a different more constant form. Mostly on hills after everything is good and hot. The E90 3535d guys said I had a bad Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor 13627792260 and they were right. First I cleaned it which made it half way better. Then I replaced it and the problem is now gone. It was easy to replace and is simply pressed into the top edge of the intake between cyl 5 and 6. It is slightly under the foam on top of the intake but otherwise easy to get to once I lifted up on the foam/plastic.

Thanks for sharing your find!! Did you get any error codes while it was showing all those symptoms?

I started scanning with Torque which showed no codes. Last week I purchased Carly and got these codes.

Oddly enough the issue came back on a road trip last week. I cleared the codes with Carly and the problem has not come back since. If it does I will check the ground for the sensor. I did NOT clear the codes after the sensor replacement which would have been a better test.
